Carter Sampson

Welcome! My name is Carter Sampson and I am a fifth-year accounting PhD student at the University of Washington.

I conduct archival research on how incomplete, inaccurate, or absent corporate disclosure affects information disparities between decision-makers. I study these disparities primarily in the supply chain setting, with additional work drawing on labor markets and carbon accounting.

I will be on the 2026-2027 job market with an expected graduation date of June 2027.
